Crossroads is the outlier in my catalog, and I mean that as a recommendation. If you know me for gentle piano that's comforting, this is the opposite corner: darker, angsty, and a lot more restless.
It ranges widely. Prog rock instrumentals, three songs with female vocals that run from rock to something close to musical theater, a solo piano take on Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, and a handful of neoclassical pieces. Two of those, Unbounded (Reprise) and Sepia, point straight toward the music I make today. The rest sounds like nothing else I do, which is exactly why it's worth hearing.
It came from a time in my life that was turbulent — an emotional rollercoaster, but in the end, there's hope as the album ends with Unbounded (Reprise).
If you're in the mood for something with more edge and a Phantom of the Opera vibe, this is the one.
