Threads Across Time began with a simple truth: some of the moments I care about most, I haven't lived yet.

Almost every song comes from something I've actually lived: the ordinary, quiet turns of raising children and then watching grandchildren arrive. The one exception is track ten, "The Thread Goes On," written from a future I haven't reached, my grandchildren grown, carrying a memory of a grandfather who loved them before they were even old enough to know it.

If you hear someone you love in this music, that wasn't an accident. While I wrote this album for my children and grandchildren, it's also written for the loved ones in your life too. Built from piano and orchestra, every track carries one idea through it: love doesn't need us in the room to keep reaching the people we love most. It travels forward on its own, thread by thread, across time, long after we're gone.
